The Environment Agency Abu Dhabi has laid out plans to improve air quality and reduce noise pollution and requires businesses to commit to supporting cleaner air efforts.
The provisions of the air quality system apply to all projects and establishments operating in the UAE capital and their work requires obtaining an environmental licence from EAD to protect the ambient air.
The agency will prepare the executive decisions, practice guides, and the necessary guidelines to implement the provisions of this system and issue them as part of its annexes.
In his capacity as Chairman of @EADTweets, Hamdan bin Zayed has issued a resolution on the air quality system in Abu Dhabi. The resolution aims to protect the environment, control air pollutants and noise levels within permissible limits across the emirate. pic.twitter.com/t1AMUE7gJa
