Abu Dhabi Police have confirmed that Sweihan road is now open for traffic in both directions after the site of a horrific accident was cleared.
The stretch between Al Shamkha Bridge to Al Falah Al Thani Bridge was closed since Tuesday morning after a truck and a car collided and burst into flames.
One person died in the accident, the police later confirmed.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
