Abu Dhabi warehouse fire controlled

A fire in a warehouse that broke out in Abu Dhabi on Sunday afternoon has been contained and brought under control.

Abu Dhabi Police said, in a tweet, the fire started in the Mafraq area of the Emirate at 2.00pm with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence "dealing" with it.

The cooling process is continuing at the site and an investigation by the relevant authorities is underway to discover the cause of the incident.

No injuries were reported.
