The Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport says 140 new bus services are being introduced in Abu Dhabi.
Normal schedules will also resume on Wednesday following their suspension due to COVID-19 precautions.
A total of 112 routes will operate in Abu Dhabi City and 28 in Al Ain City
Community bus services will restart in Musaffah and Mohammed bin Zayed City, including the service for Abu Dhabi international airport.
The Mussafah routes will be operating 328 daily trips as paid services under the integrated fare system.
Al Ruawis and the regional bus network are also restarting.
A regular and extensive cleaning service will be carried out on the fleet to maintain safety measures.
Passengers are advised to wear masks and observe social distancing at all times.
