The Governor of Brazil's Brasilia Province has praised the humanitarian and medical aid provided by the UAE to fight COVID-19.
Ibaneis Rocha said the UAE's assistance has helped strengthen the efforts of medical professionals combatting the spread of the virus in his country.
This came during his meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Brazil, Saleh Ahmad Salem Al Suwaidi, where they discussed trade and investment prospects.
Al Suwaidi highlighted the advantages offered by the UAE as a global centre of trade and re-export, as well as its strategic location, modern infrastructure and advanced logistical capabilities.
He also emphasised the embassy’s readiness to provide all forms of support to promote economic and trade ties.
