COVID-19: UAE announces 490 new cases, 3 deaths

The UAE has announced 490 new cases of COVID-19, taking the tally to 7,755.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), three more people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 46.

It also announced the recovery of 83 patients. It brings the total number of recoveries in the country to 1,443.

As many as 30,000 tests have been conducted as part of the ministry's strategy to identify, isolate and treat as many patients as possible in the early stages itself.
