The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is reminding customers to take precautionary measures ahead of the rainy season to prevent any malfunctions or outages.
DEWA stresses the importance of regular maintenance and properly insulating all external electrical connections, panels and meter boxes.
It also advises securely closing electrical panels, replacing broken glass covers on meters, and inspecting earthing cables to maintain a stable power supply.
Customers can report technical emergencies on the DEWA hotline 991.
DEWA has called on its customers to take proactive steps and implement the necessary precautionary measures before the start of the rainy season. This aims to avoid any malfunctions or internal outages and ensure a safe and uninterrupted electricity supply.
