A six-year-old boy, who was scared of men in uniform, got a heart-winning surprise from Dubai Police.
The officials visited the boy at his home with gifts. He was also given a ride in one of the Dubai Police luxury patrol cars.
“We dispatched a specialised team accompanied by the policewoman to entertain the little boy by gifting him a tailored police uniform. It had a positive impact on the child,” said Colonel Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Acting Director of the General Department of the Community Happiness Department, adding that family of the boy had approached them for help.
“It is of great importance to us that the members of the society trust and contact us whenever they need our help, especially the children,” Col. Al Mansouri added.
The boy’s family thanked Dubai Police for their kind gesture.
