A man has been arrested in Dubai for dangerously setting off fireworks in a residential area and causing minor damage to properties.
The suspect was seen lighting them to celebrate the birth of his newborn child in a video that went viral.
He has been referred to the authorities ahead of further legal action.
Dubai Police issued a warning against the use of fireworks by members of the public.
The statement said they can cause severe burns or temporary disability, as well as ignite fires and damage property.
