Teachers in the UAE have been praised by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Today is World Teachers' Day, and according to the national news agency WAM, the UAE is joining in the celebrations to express its gratitude to the profession. Sheikh Mohamed applauded the vital role played by teachers in nation-building, and called them “the most valuable asset we have.” His Highness added that education will continue to receive unlimited support from the country's leadership.
