8 injured in Ajman building fire

Investigations are underway into the cause of a fire that struck a residential building in Ajman.

Eight people suffered minor injuries in the blaze, which erupted in the third floor of the apartment block in Nuaimiya area on Wednesday.

All of them were treated at the scene by emergency personnel who rushed to the site.

Authorities are urging building owners to comply with fire safety standards and to carry out regular checks on safety equipment.
