Humanitarian aid is being distributed by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to people in the southern Italian city of Naples.
Several other cities in the country including Assisi and Milan will also receive the humanitarian relief as part of the winter aid programme.
The ERC is delivering relief to 25 countries, including heating equipment and warm clothing following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the ERC.
Around 15,000 families in Italy, San Marino and North Macedonia have already received supplies in recent weeks and more stand to benefit in the coming days.
