Businesses will resume economic activities in Dubai as of Wednesday, May 27.
That’s according to an announcement made by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
This means that establishments such as cinemas, gyms, educational and training institutes, and therapy centres for children will be reopening their doors to visitors.
This also includes the resumption of operations at entertainment facilities located inside shopping malls such as the Dubai Mall ice rink and the Dolphinarium.

The Crown Prince clarified that with this comes a great responsibility and precautionary measures must be implemented at all times in order to ensure people's safety.
These include ensuring a social distance of two meters between people, wearing masks and providing visitors with sanitisers.
Sheikh Hamdan also called on authorities in Dubai to continue raising awareness in the emirate while implementing stringent preventative measures.
He added that the new measures aim to allow people to adapt to the current situation affected by COVID-19 without disrupting operations in vital sectors.
