Sharjah Police have taken action against football fans who were involved in a fight following the Anoc Pro League match between Sharjah and Khor Fakkan on Friday night.
The authority said action had been taken against those involved after videos shared on social media showed fans fighting after the game.
Sharjah Police issued a statement on social media: “Sharjah Police dealt with a public quarrel after the end of the Sharjah and Khor Fakkan match in the ADNOC Professional League, and the necessary measures were taken against those responsible.”
Khor Fakkan won the game 1-0 at Saqr Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium in Khor Fakkan city.
