DXB is back to a dual-runway operation following the completion of its Northern Runway Rehabilitation programme.
At 14:05 on Wednesday, an Emirates Airbus A380 bound for Amman took off from the newly refurbished runway.
Shortly after, the first aircraft to land was an Emirates Airbus A380 from Sydney.
And that’s a wrap! 45 days later, the Northern Runway Rehabilitation programme is now complete, and DXB is back to a dual-runway operation!#DestinationDXB #DXB #northernrunwayrehabilitation #runwayclosure #reopening #success pic.twitter.com/sKCm4Livcg
