His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Angela Merkel have reiterated their rejection of extremism and terrorism.
Sheikh Mohamed and Chancellor Merkel stressed the importance of boosting international action to confront these actions during their telephone call.
They underscored the significance of joint efforts to support dialogue between religions and cultures at regional and global levels.
The two leaders also highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the UAE and Germany.
They reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and the Mediterranean region, emphasising their support for settling differences through dialogue and peaceful means.
In addition, Sheikh Mohamed and Chancellor Merkel discussed the latest developments in the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of strengthening international action to tackle the virus.
