His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has invited green pioneers to kick-start their sustainability journey at Expo City Dubai.
"We invite all those driven with this sense of purpose and committed to sustainability to join us at Expo City Dubai, a city we built for the world, to deliver a better future for all," he announced in a social media post.
As "world leaders and global institutions" gathered at Expo City Dubai for the UN climate summit (COP28), Sheikh Mohammed took the opportunity to highlight the City's central pillar of sustainability and how the free zone is powered by clean and renewable energy.
He hailed it as a destination for pioneers of the green sector, from businesses, start-ups, innovators, institutes, and creative minds, all dedicated to serving the sustainability of the planet.
Ten years ago, the world entrusted Dubai and the UAE with the profound responsibility of bringing the world together at Expo 2020. Since then, we have continued to connect minds to create a better future for all.
