His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, toured the 19th Dubai Airshow on Monday.
This year’s event is the largest edition to date, bringing together major players in aviation, defence and aerospace from 115 countries.
During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed reviewed the latest innovations in civil and military aviation, defence systems and space technologies.
He highlighted the importance of technological development, strong global partnerships and national talent in maintaining the UAE’s leadership as a global aviation hub.
He also reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to investing in advanced airports and smart infrastructure to meet future industry challenges.
Sheikh Mohammed visited several key pavilions, including China’s COMAC, where he viewed the C919 passenger aircraft making its Middle East debut, as well as the CATIC, Strata–Mubadala, EDGE, LODD, and Dubai South displays.
The 2025 edition features more than 1,500 exhibitors, 440 of them new, along with 148,000 trade visitors and nearly 500 delegations.
Over 200 aircraft are on display across the static and flying exhibitions — the largest showcase in the event’s history.
