His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a special message in the lead up to Emirati Women’s Day.
In a video message, he praised the achievements of women, describing them as "the soul and spirit of the country."
"Around 70% of the UAE's graduates are women.. And at my office 85% of employees are female," Sheikh Mohammed added.
The UAE will mark Emirati Women's Day on August 28 to celebrate the country's progress in the field of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
This year's theme is "Inspiring Reality .. Sustainable Future".
