More than half of UAE residents say they're taking steps to beat air pollution.
A new survey from YouGov has found that 70 per cent of us try using less electricity at home by switching off our appliances when not in use.
Setting the air conditioner on 24 degrees or above, recycling or reusing products and taking shorter showers were some of the most popular steps taken by people to reduce their carbon footprint.
A quarter claim they take steps to beat air pollution regularly, while almost a third say they do it sometimes when they remember.
