US leader Joe Biden thanked UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan while highlighting the historic India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) at the G20 Summit.
"I did not mention... Sheikh Mohamed of the UAE — because I knew he wasn't speaking — but I do want to say, thank you, thank you, thank you. I don't think we'd be here without you. Thank you," Biden said.
The cross-border ship-to-rail transit corridors will reduce shipping costs across the network and facilitate trade in goods and services to, from, and between the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Europe.
