The UAE's National Media Office has announced the launch of the BRIDGE Summit, which will focus on the future of media, driving transformation and fostering innovation within the sector.
The global event is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, 2025.
Unveiled during a special ceremony in Washington DC, the summit aims to create a dynamic, inclusive ecosystem for media professionals and promote responsible journalism in the digital age.
The BRIDGE Summit is expected to attract over 2,000 media professionals, heads of state, and CEOs, alongside a media production exhibition featuring leading international companies.
The event will serve as a platform for collaboration, addressing challenges and advancing the media sector's growth globally.
In addition, the National Media Office has launched the BRIDGE Foundation, a non-profit organisation aimed at empowering the next generation of media professionals, supporting start-ups, and advancing responsible journalism.
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, emphasised the UAE's vision to position itself as a leader in media innovation and development, with the BRIDGE Summit serving as a catalyst for shaping the future of the global media industry.
