The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) is forecasting partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at times on Saturday, with the chance of convective cloud formation and rainfall in some areas — particularly across the northern and eastern regions.
In a statement, the NCM said winds will be moderate to fresh, becoming strong at times with cloud activity. This may lead to blowing dust and sand in some areas.
Winds are expected to be southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly, with speeds of 15 to 30 km per hour, and gusts reaching up to 45 km per hour at times.
Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be rough.
