The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) is closely monitoring a low-pressure system currently forming over the northern Arabian Sea, near the Indian coastline.
Forecast models suggest the system could intensify into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, moving west-southwest toward the central Arabian Sea.
The NCM confirms there is no immediate impact on the UAE. More accurate details on the system’s strength and path will be available once its formation is complete.
