Over 100 women apply to be candidates in UAE's FNC elections

More than 100 women have so far applied to be candidates in this year's Federal National Council elections.

In total, 288 applications have been made by UAE nationals in the last two days.

Registrations opened on Sunday and will remain open until Thursday. 

The National Elections Commission is set to announce the preliminary list of candidates on Sunday, August 25, before the final list is released on September 3.
