A new COVID-19 vaccination centre has opened in Abu Dhabi's Masdar City.
The walk-in facility will initially offer the first dose of the vaccine to UAE citizens and residents aged 50 and above, as well as those with chronic illnesses and people of determination.
People under the age of 50 can also get their second dose at the centre.
The new vaccination centre, which is part of the Mubadala Health network, is open from Sunday to Thursday between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm.
No appointments are needed for people who meet the current criteria, and all vaccinations are free of charge.
Visitors will be asked to present their Emirates ID card and have the AlHosn app downloaded on their mobile phones before receiving the vaccine.
The latest facility will support the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, in implementing the UAE’s vigorous vaccination programme.
