The UAE's Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced the New Year’s Day holiday for employees of federal entities.
The holiday will fall on Thursday, January 1, 2026, while Friday, January 2, will be a remote-work day for federal government staff, except for roles that require on-site presence.
