Erth Zayed Philanthropies, along with The Founder’s Office, has unveiled the official emblem for Zayed Humanitarian Day, replacing the previous one as a symbol of its renewed commitment to preserving the profound humanitarian legacy of the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Zayed Humanitarian Day unites communities in the spirit of giving, carrying forward the Founding Father’s vision. His dedication to philanthropy has become an integral part of Emirati identity, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to humanitarian causes both locally and globally.
Sheikh Zayed also established the concept of giving as a lifestyle that knows no boundaries, believing that human values are what unite people and transcend all classifications of colour, race, and religion. Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the passing of Sheikh Zayed and with the advent of the 19th day of Ramadan every year, is celebrated annually.
The new logo embodies an ongoing commitment to continuing and enhancing Sheikh Zayed's humanitarian message.
The moon, in its phases, symbolises a continuous cycle of growth and development, and through the logo, it reflects Sheikh Zayed’s enduring influence and the renewed impact of his humanitarian vision. The logo is in harmony with the phase of the moon on the 19th day of Ramadan, adding a dimension to its significance and deepening its meaning.
The new logo carries within it symbolism for the nineteenth day of Ramadan through 19 lines, honouring Sheikh Zayed’s immortal legacy of humanitarian giving, as the occasion celebrates Zayed Humanitarian Work Day Sheikh Zayed’s deep dedication to giving and compassion, values that continue to inspire the UAE and guide its future.
The new identity replaces the old logo and becomes the official identity of Zayed Humanitarian Day.
