Employees of all ages are helping to drive digital transformation in the United Arab Emirates. A study of 5,700 employees across the GCC region has found that, far from being confined to the ‘millennial’ or ‘Generation Z’ demographics, digital skills are a priority for all employees. It also revealed that almost two thirds of personnel are willing to use their own time to learn new digital skills that will drive productivity. Employees over the age of 45 were most willing to invest their time to learn new technology such as mobile app design. Senior Manager at VM Ware, Deepak Narain, explains some of their findings.
