One person has been injured from falling shrapnel following a drone interception in Umm Al Quwain, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
In a post on its official social media handles, Media Office of the Umm Al Quwain government said the incident occurred in the Umm Al Thuoob industrial area and emergency teams were on the scene.
The authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for updates.
