The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has given assistance to over 90,000 families in Aden and its surrounding cities in Yemen. According to the national news agency WAM, the UAE aid organisation has distributed almost 78,000 tons of food in its latest supply mission. The ERC is also working on key infrastructure projects, such as the maintenance of the sewer network, rebuilding of schools, and rehabilitation of the health sector. Meanwhile, AED 220 million has gone towards efforts to restore power supplies in Aden, with operating capacity reaching 90%, allowing normalcy to return.
