The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) says the UAE will remain under the influence of a rainy weather system until Friday night, driven by a main weather front over the far western regions, where scattered heavy rainfall has already been recorded.
Conditions will gradually extend to the emirate of Abu Dhabi between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM on Friday, bringing heavy rain, before reaching the emirate of Dubai, the northern coasts, and southern interior areas.
Rain will then spread to northern and eastern regions, including Al Ain, between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with continued heavy rainfall.
There is also a chance of further cloud formation bringing moderate to heavy rain across scattered areas, lasting through Friday night, the NCM added.
