The capacity limits across most public places in Ras Al Khaimah has been increased.
Restaurants and shopping malls in the emirate can now operate at 80 per cent capacity, and up to 10 people can be seated at the same table.
The capacity limits for entertainment venues, exhibitions, cinemas and museums have also increased to 80 per cent, while hotels are allowed to return to full capacity.
The operating capacity of public transportation has been raised to 75 per cent, while 60 per cent is the new capacity limit for wedding halls but the number of attendees must not exceed 300.
Events can also have an increased capacity of 60 per cent.
According to the Ras Al Khaimah Media Office, attendance at all exhibitions and social, cultural and artistic events is restricted to those who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and to those who are participants in clinical trials.
No more than six months must have passed since the second dose, while for the vulnerable groups (elderly people and those with chronic diseases), no more than three months must have passed since the second dose.
Attendees will still be required to present a negative result of a PCR test taken within 48 hours, with the letter E or gold star showing on their Al Hosn app.
The latest changes fall in line with the rules announced by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) earlier this month.
