His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered an increase in compensation for individuals whose homes were affected by the unstable weather earlier this year.

The amount has been raised to up to AED 50,000 per case.

Sheikh Sultan has authorised a total sum of AED 15.3 million to assist 618 cases impacted by the rainstorm in April.

Distribution of these compensations will be handled promptly by Sharjah Social Services.

These directives were announced during the "Direct Line" programme on Sharjah Radio and Television.
