Sheikh Abdullah discusses COVID-19 recovery with Italian counterpart

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has been holding talks with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio in Abu Dhabi.

They discussed the latest COVID-19 developments and the two countries' efforts to contain its repercussions.

They also reviewed Italy's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, while touching on regional and international issues of common interest and ways to enhance bilateral relations.

Sheikh Abdullah also emphasised the historic ties between the UAE and Italy.
