Sheikh Abdullah holds talks with ministers from EU, Iraq, Jordan

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held meetings with a number of foreign ministers in Abu Dhabi, ahead of the Sir Bani Yas Forum.

During the meeting with Josep Borrell, Vice-President of the European Commission, Sheikh Abdullah discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, and looked into a number of issues of mutual concern, such as the energy file.

He also held talks with Dr. Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq; Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan; Rob Oliphant, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canda; Ignazio Cassis, President of the Swiss Confederation and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias.

The ministers looked at ways to strengthening ties and exchanged views on the latest developments at the regional and international levels.
