Sheikh Khalifa re-elected as UAE President

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been re-elected as the UAE’s President for a fourth five-year term.

According to national news agency WAM, the UAE Supreme Council’s decision is in line with the provisions of the country’s constitution.

The Council has expressed its deep confidence in Sheikh Khalifa’s leadership and wished him the best to continue the journey of development and prosperity.

Sheikh Khalifa was first elected President on November 3, 2004.
