Sharjah Space and Astronomy Complex will be established under a new decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This will annul the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology, with its employees, assets, holdings, rights, obligations, and financial allocations transferred to the new complex.
The Complex will be affiliated to and operated by University of Sharjah, with its president handed the responsibility to set the objectives, competencies, administration, and all affairs.
