Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has advised motorists of new traffic diversions in Ras Al Khor as construction works continue for the Metro Blue Line project.
The changes affect the intersection A15 and Nad Al Hamar Street near the "Used Car Market", where the lanes will be closed.
The RTA said traffic has been diverted to "additional parallel lanes provided on either sides of the existing road".
Motorists are advised to plan trips in advance and follow traffic signs following the road updates.
The diversions are due to the ongoing works of the Dubai Metro Blue Line that is scheduled to open in 2029.
Aiming to hold a capacity of over 320,000 passengers per day, the Blue Line will connect 14 stations, including five that will be located over the ground, four underground, with one underground interchange, and two future "elevated" stations.
