Two policemen in Abu Dhabi who died in the line of duty have been honoured with posthumous awards.
Lieutenant Muhammad Obaid Mubarak and Lieutenant Saud Khamis Al Hosani passed away in a traffic accident while responding to a police report.
Their families were presented the Medal of Duty by Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Sheikh Saif praised their loyalty and dedication to protecting lives and property.
"They were beacons of loyalty and sincerity, and the best role models for the people of the Emirates," he said.
