The United Arab Emirates said its air defence systems intercepted four ballistic missiles and six drones launched from Iran on Sunday.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) added that since the start of Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have intercepted 298 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,606 drones.
The attacks have resulted in six deaths, involving nationals of the UAE, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
A further 142 people have been reported injured, with those affected including nationals from the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia and Sweden.
The MoD said the armed forces remain on high alert and ready to respond to any threats, adding that protecting the country’s sovereignty, security and stability remains a top priority.
