The UAE's Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has outlined the working hours for federal entities during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the circular, the official working hours for ministries and federal authorities will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday.
FAHR stressed that flexible working or remote work schedules can also be implemented as long as it's in line with their specific requirements and within the limits of the working hours approved per day.
Federal departments can also approve work-from-home for a maximum of 70 per cent of their staff during Ramadan according to the approved regulations.
