His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, chaired a cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, where several key decisions were approved.
Among the highlights, the Cabinet endorsed the National Policy for Economic Clusters, aiming to boost GDP by over AED 30 billion annually and strengthen sectors like finance, tourism, space and food.
Sheikh Mohammed also approved the agenda for the UAE Government’s Annual Meetings, set for November 4-6 in Abu Dhabi, with more than 500 leaders expected to attend.
The Cabinet gave the green light to form the UAE Council for Integrative Medicine, chaired by Sheikha Salama bint Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, to advance holistic healthcare combining modern and traditional practices.
A comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy was also approved, in addition to new steps to reduce aviation sector emissions, and progress reports on air quality, environmental policy, and the Emirates Genome Council.
The Cabinet reviewed the performance of the Emirates Investment Authority, financial reports for 2024, and the Emiratisation strategy in the finance sector, along with the Digital Government Transformation Report.
In education, the Cabinet reviewed public school readiness for the 2025–2026 academic year, with over 283,000 students now enrolled.
Legislative approvals included new regulations for electric vehicle charging, consumer protection and industrial gas safety, along with tax-related updates and amendments across several ministries.
The Cabinet also ratified 85 international agreements in fields ranging from AI to aviation and approved hosting 12 major global events, including World Maritime Day 2025 and the International Conference on AI in Sports.
