Starting April 1, Iranian nationals will not be allowed to enter or transit through the UAE, with exemptions for Golden Visa holders.
In an update on its website, Emirates also clarified that the restrictions will not apply to Iranian nationals if they are married to a UAE national, or if their mother is a UAE national.
Exemptions also apply to Iranian nationals if they are "athletes, bank executives, doctors, engineers, investors, senior professionals or traders".

Dubai-based flydubai also issued a similar guideline on its website, adding that exemptions will be for Iranian nationals with Golden visas.

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways also issued a similar update online, adding that Iranians with Golden Visas can still enter the UAE.
