The UAE has condemned the terrorist attack in Somalia, in which a senior official of the Dubai-government owned P&O Ports was killed.
Paul Anthony Formosa was the manager of Bosaso Port in the autonomous Puntland region.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said it's closely following the investigations into Monday's attack.
It has also urged the local government to ensure the protection of the port and its workers.
The Ministry has reiterated the UAE's firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.
