The UAE's air defence systems have responded to another wave of missile and drone threats from Iran.
Authorities advised the public to stay in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.
The Ministry of Defence added that the sounds heard were of air defence interception operations.
An all-clear message was later sent through the national early warning system.
