A total of 1,743 Emiratis have been successfully evacuated by the UAE from other countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), 39 evacuations have been carried out so far amidst the COVID-19 outbreak around the world.
The UAE has reached out to all its citizens abroad to check on their well-being and facilitate their safe return to the country.
Officials have also confirmed that 25 evacuations are currently underway and will be completed within the coming few days.
MoFAIC will continue to cooperate with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) and all the concerned officials both locally and internationally in order to monitor the recent developments of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation urged Emirati citizens currently abroad who wish to return to the country to register through the following link: https://www.research.net/r/mofa-nat.
