A red and yellow alert has been issued on Thursday by the UAE weather authorities as dense fog reduced visibility across some parts of the country.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the foggy conditions are expected to drop even further until 10:30 am on November 20.
Police authorities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have also alerted motorists to exercise caution on the road, with road users in the capital city urged to follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.
