A three-day holiday has been announced for private-sector employees in the UAE to mark the country's 49th National Day and Commemoration Day.
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), the holidays will run from December 1 (Tuesday) to December 3 (Thursday).

This matches an earlier announcement made by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources for the public sector.
