The UAE and Malaysia have held talks on taking their bilateral relations to the next level.
This came during a meeting in Abu Dhabi between President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The two leaders discussed efforts to expand cooperation in various sectors especially in investment and trade domains, as well as renewable energy and food security.
They also reviewed a number of regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of common interest.
The Malaysian Prime Minister expressed his happiness at meeting Sheikh Mohamed and thanked him for the warm reception, affirming his country's keenness to cooperate with the UAE in vital domains.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and a number of officials, in addition to the delegation accompanying the Malaysian Prime Minister.
